This platform aims to provide a space for photographers from the region to freely share their work and express their voices. Our larger goal is to bridge the gap in the understanding of the region, its unique identity and cultural richness by using visual storytelling. Through this, we seek to foster new forms of knowledge and fresh narratives. By showcasing their work, photographers can also share their stories with a broader audience.
 

Open for Submissions:

We are seeking photographic stories from the regions of Kalimpong, Darjeeling, and Sikkim. We encourage photographers to submit original work that reflects a wide range of experiences, from personal and intimate moments to political, cultural, and social narratives. The aim is to create a collective visual narrative of the region, reflecting the diverse experiences of its people through the lens of individual artists.

Photographers need not be based in these specific areas, but their work must focus on Kalimpong, Darjeeling, or Sikkim.
 

GUIDELINES
* Please submit images resized to 2400 pixels on the long side (width for landscape, height for portrait orientation), in JPG format.
* Upload a Zip file of your Photo story (15 – 20 images ) on a drive and share the downloadable link.
* Photo essay can be a slide show of images or a multimedia piece / Send the download link for submission.
*Please note that only successful submission candidates will be featured in our website and may likely be contacted for further information.
